The Synopsis

The series Friendly Rivalry epitomizes the dark underside of elite South Korean academies and the extreme, often risky measures students take to secure their place at the top. The story opens with Woo Seul-gi (Chung Su-bin)—an orphaned, independent student who arrives at Chaehwa Girls’ High School with her entire life packed into a single suitcase. The series does the incredible feat of condensing a highly engaging, no-filler plot within 16 episodes with only runtime of minutes per episode! Ultimately, the moody atmosphere, tense school dynamics, mounting academic pressure, and raw social climbing drive the series home for viewers.
